Nearly every aspect of career services and recruiting needs to demonstrate return on investment and this is not possible without data. How can our data positively impact student career readiness and demonstrate career success at both the undergraduate and graduate levels? Maximizing Student Engagement in Applied Learning

At UMBC we have developed programming to support student engagement in applied learning opportunities as well as encourage networking and professional development. Each year we design and host events and programs to expose students to benefits of applied learning including conferences, boutique career fairs, tailored newsletters and industry specific panels comprised of professionals who share their career journeys and offer advice and strategies for success.
